Legislative Strategy Development Public Affairs Group understands that the public policy arena extends well beyond the statehouse walls and encompasses the media, opinion leaders and the watchful public. Legislative Advocacy Providing gavel-to-gavel coverage, Public Affairs Group implements advocacy programs at the Maine State House by gathering intelligence, preparing and presenting testimony as well as coordinating the testimony of allies; drafting bills; arranging for appropriate legal research; conducting other communications by preparing fact sheets and related materials; setting up meetings with key legislators or staffers and providing oral arguments to legislators.

With the Maine House and Senate being almost equally divided between Republicans and Democrats, our well-connected team works effectively on both sides of the aisle, building broad support for client positions.
